Good though the new RS looks, it’s less extreme than the last RS, with Ford cutting costs by sticking to the five-door hatch body, and welcome though four-wheel-drive is for traction and grip, it could have made the new RS less exciting to blat around. That’s what Ford thought, so they gave the keys to Ken and let him loose to play at the Ford Plant in Cologne, and the results should quell any disquiet that the new RS is going to be less of a hooligan than the last RS.
